It is a beautiful little wooden hall with a very warm atmosphere, situated between the small concert hall and the "Jazz Club". There is also a canteen which offers drinks and especially delicious cooked dishes. The products are as fresh as can be and I will let you guess which is the king product which is offered in all possible forms; of course eggs... One of the particularities of this place is the service offered to the spectators. The Eggfarm is of course located in the countryside, and apart from a few music-loving neighbours, most of the audience comes from the city of Saitama, or Tokyo. Listening to a jazz concert in a club without a drink is like eating spaghetti without a sauce, and almost all spectators prefer to travel by train and underground rather than taking their car if they have one. Booking a ticket includes a transport service from the nearest train station to the Egg Farm. The Eggfarm staff come to the station to pick up the audience and bring them to the venue, but this service also includes a ride home after the concert and a relaxing hour in the canteen before returning home. A service that is of course perfectly adjusted to the train timetable, and all this in the context of a private initiative driven mainly by a passion for music; an example to follow in Europe....
« HALL EGGFARM », á Saitama. La « Ferme aux Oeufs » est un autre lieu qui, représente une initiative privée qui a abouti á la création d`un lieu de la scène libre au Japon. L`initiatrice de la création de ce lieu est la directrice et propriétaire d`une grosse ferme de production d`oeufs dans la région de Saitama voisine de la métropole de Tokyo. Passionnée de jazz et surtout de musique improvisée, cette dame a fait construire une salle de concert sur l`immense terrain de sa ferme de production d`oeufs. C`est une magnifique petite salle en bois á l`atmosphère très chaleureuse qui se situe entre la petite salle de concert, et le « Club de Jazz ». Il y a aussi une cantine qui propose boissons et surtout des plats cuisinés délicieux. Les produits sont on ne peut plus frais et je vous laisse deviner quel est le produit-roi qui est proposé sous toutes les formes possibles; bien sûr l`oeuf.. Une des particularités de ce lieux est le service qui est proposé aux spectateurs. La Eggfarm est bien sûr située en pleine campagne, et, mis á part les quelques voisins amateurs de musique, la plus grande partie du public vient de la ville de Saitama, ou de Tokyo. Écouter un concert de Jazz dans un Club sans boire un verre est comme manger des spaghettis sans sauce, et presque tous les spectateurs préfèrent se déplacer en train et métro plutôt que prendre leur voiture si ils en ont une. La réservation d`un ticket inclut un service de transport entre la gare la plus proche et la ferme aux oeufs. Le personnel de la Eggfarm vient donc á la gare chercher les spectateurs pour les amener á la salle de spectacle, mais ce service inclut aussi le fait de les ramener après le concert et une petite heure de détente á la cantine avant de rentrer á la maison. Tout un service bien entendu parfaitement réglé sur les horaires de trains, et tout cela dans le cadre d`une initiative privée animée essentiellement par la passion pour la musique; un exemple á suivre en Europe ?…
« HALL EGG FARM » in Saitama "ホールエッグファーム" in 埼玉 この会場を作った発起人は、首都圏に近い埼玉県の大規模な卵生産農場の社長兼オーナーです。 ジャズ、特に即興音楽に情熱を燃やしているこの女性は、卵生産農場の広大な土地にコンサートホールを建設しました。 小さなコンサートホールと「ジャズクラブ」の間にある、とても温かみのある雰囲気の素敵な小さな木のホールです。飲み物や美味しい料理を提供する食堂もあり、その料理はどれもとても新鮮で、これらがどれだけ最上級の形で、提供されているかを推測させてくれます;もちろん卵は格別です… ここの特徴の一つは、観客に提供されるサービスです。エッグファームは電車の最寄駅から遠い場所にありますが、音楽好きのご近所さんを除けば、ほとんどのお客さんは埼玉や東京から来ています。クラブでお酒を飲まずにジャズコンサートを聴くのは、ソースなしのスパゲッティを食べるようなもので、ほとんどの観客は、車があれば車で移動するよりも、電車や地下鉄で移動することを好みます。 チケットの予約時には、最寄り駅とエッグファーム間の送迎サービスが含まれています。エッグファームのスタッフが駅までお客様をお迎えに行き、会場までお連れしますが、このサービスにはコンサート終了後の帰りの送迎や、帰宅前の食堂でのんびりとした1時間も含まれています。もちろん、完全に列車のスケジュールに調整されているサービスは、音楽のための情熱を中心に駆動される民間の先駆けです。例えば、ヨーロッパの情熱と同じように。
