DANCER in the DARK

This is where and when my collaboration work with Burkhard Kosminski started.
Burkhard was starting his first season as theatre director for the « Dusseldorfer Schauspielhaus » with the directing of a stage adaptation of the Lars Von Trier’s movie « Dancer in the dark ». For this work he was looking for a choreographer, and I had the big luck that he called the Tanztheater Company office to ask if they could recommend him somebody.
It was not only the beginning of a great and rich work collaboration, but a nice friendship started and I am very happy that this friendship and this collaboration is nowadays, twenty years later still alive and source of strong enjoyable moments.
For this work, I could employ some dancers. This work became very successful.
